Michael holds this position since April 2010 after working and living for 22 years in Ecuador, Peru, Colombia and Canada. He has a vast experience in the conservation, utilisation and policy work on underutilised crops. His recent work focuses on market approaches to enhance the use of biodiversity and linking poor farmers to markets for income generation.

Paul has worked with a global platform dealing with underutilized species (former GFU) since its inception in 2002. His areas of expertise relate to managing agricultural communication and information for sustainable agriculture and diversification, climate change, NUS (Neglected and Underutilized species), livelihoods, application of organic farming techniques and quality assurance certification systems.

Kwek Mei Jiun

Mei Jiun has joined CFF in May 2011. She obtained her Master degree in 2011 and Bachelor’s degree in 2008 both from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Her previous researches focus on taxonomic studies of Rhizanthes (Rafflesiaceae) and Rinorea (Violaceae) in Peninsular Malaysia.

Khoo Teng Kew

Teng Kew has joined CFF in June 2011. He obtained his Master degree in 2011 from University Sains Malaysia, and his Bachelor’s degree from AIMST University, Malaysia. He has a research background specialised in biotechnology and molecular medicine.
